We turned Lisbon into a giant board game.
Will your team get the Monopoly?
In this game the teams face each other in a monopoly game in which the board is the city of Lisbon (it is possible to carry out the program in other cities as well). Participants are players, decision makers, peons and team members, all at the same time. The objective? Hold the maximum amount of money and the greatest number of houses at the end of the activity.
Each team will receive a kit consisting of a tablet (with the location of the “houses” of the monopoly, which they should win over teambuilding games on the spot), an envelope with 500 euros of false money and the list of rules, as in any board game. Throughout the activity, and after being left in the Go house of the Monopoly game, the teams choose where they want to go, how to get there and whether or not they want to buy the houses. In order to do so, they must throw dice, draw cards of luck or hazard according to the throw they have obtained in the dice, play the game that we propose to them and, if they beat the score record, they will then be able to buy the house, until another team beats their record of points and wants to buy the house. Over the time defined for the activity (which should be at least 2 hours), this is the succession of interactions that will happen. At the end of the program we will collect the envelopes of the teams and the information regarding the number of houses that each team controls. The team with the best sum of houses and money will be the winner. Like the game Monopoly.
We all played monopoly at some point in our life. Combining the stress of stopping in opponents’ houses, buying and investing in sets of houses, building hotels, and having the sadistic pleasure of seeing the other teams at our properties paying large sums of money has always been a combination of success! In this game we managed to pass all these parameters to a teambuilding activity and our customers just love it! Come and experience the full-scale monopoly game.
This program is set to last between 2 hours and 3 and half hours – from the moment the briefing ends. It will begin with a briefing to the whole group where the details of the activity and all the procedures allowed are explained. Here we will divide the group into teams and deliver the tablets as well. Through our application we can create custom routes, shorten or extend the activity, but the ideal is to have at least 2 hours of time spent for it. In total, you should reserve 4 hours for the entire program.
The specificities of this program allow it to be carried out in any city of Portugal, in outdoor format.
