Team building of Urban Art.
Canned art.

Do not worry: we will not turn your business into a gang! Graffiti is gaining an urban space of excellence, in huge facades of empty buildings and even in residential buildings. Unlike wall tags and messages, graffiti is an art in itself, which uses the city as a storefront and exhibition gallery. In order to take advantage of this hype, we have created the perfect introduction for your group. Create a giant puzzle in this graffiti workshop that you can take to your company headquarters, proudly explaining to visitors that this is a work of art created “in the house”.
The group will have a general briefing, a theoretical and historical introduction of this art, done by a specialist. The various tools needed to complete a painting and the ideal way to create stencils (cardboard that allow you to spray fill and create drawings in precise shapes) are explained below. The next moment will consist of taking the teams to their work tables and showing the project to each team. At the end, after the artwork is completed, the time comes to assemble the puzzle! The final design will be surprising and very hard to believe was painted by beginners, many of them having grabbed graffiti cans for the first time less than 2 hours ago.
One of the most used metaphors in corporate contexts is that the whole is worth more than the sum of the parts. This is one of the concepts we want to implement. Apart from this, there is the situation of getting people out of their comfort zone and proposing to them to do something they most probably never did. Holding a graffiti can for the first time is a feeling you’ll remember. When all the works are finished, being better or worse executed, the final result will always be surprising and enriching. The effort of each team will be evident and often the final artwork is a real surprise. The feeling of completing something together, which fits together as a puzzle is satisfying and positive in all its facets.

This graffiti workshop was created to last between 1 to 2 hours. Participants will have a small training, create their stencils and then use the cans to paint a composition that can be per team or a puzzle genre assembled at the end of the activity to create a giant image. In total, it is advisable to spend 2 and a half hours to complete the program.

The specifics of the graffiti workshop allow the same to be done indoor or outdoor. If they choose an outside location, it is important to consider a local authorization for the placement of the tables (one per team). If it is indoor, there should be a room with openings so that the paint does not become uncomfortable. We have protections not to damage any part of the room.
